“As an individual, you are entitled to your time of grief, process of grief, and right to grieve.”
― Asa Don Brown
My past experience has enabled me to work with culturally diverse populations having different ethnic backgrounds in individual, group, and family settings. I enjoy working with children as young as 5 years and above, teenagers, and adults. I graduated from the University of North Texas with Bachelors of Science in 2007, Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2009, and Masters in School Psychology in 2012. My work history includes teaching psychology classes at a local community college, assessment and counseling of the juvenile population at the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center, therapist in a private practice in Denton, Coppell, and now in Frisco, and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in different school districts. I have practiced counseling since 2008. My native language is Finnish, and I moved to Texas in 1999 with my two children.
